For founders with a live site

Great project.
Not enough traffic.

Run free ads on other founders' sites.
All it costs is one small card on yours.

What it costs you

One small card in the corner of your site. Dismissible, shown once per visitor, and it never blocks anything.

What you get

Your project, running as an ad on every other site in the network.

The more you show, the more you're shown. No money changes hands.

Every repo you starred, in one weekly email

Kettle watches the projects you follow and sends you a short digest of what actually changed.

How it works

Three steps, and only the first one takes any effort.

01

Paste in one line

A single script tag. Each visitor sees one card, once — it does not come back as they move around your site. Works on all devices.

02

Earn credits as people visit

Every time the card shows, you earn. No money changes hands and nothing is ever deducted from you. Credits do not expire.

03

Spend credits to get seen

Credits are used for the upcoming week. Your share of the network's views is simply your credits against everyone else's that week.

That's the whole idea. Request an invite or keep reading.

Straight answers

The things you were about to ask.

Will it mess up my site?
No. It's one small card in the corner — it doesn't shift your layout, doesn't stop anyone scrolling or clicking, and slides away when dismissed. It loads after your page, so it won't slow you down or affect your search ranking.
Who else is in it?
Every site is reviewed by a human before it joins, and not everything makes the cut — you won't be sharing the network with junk. As the network grows we will feature a rotating selection of member sites, so you can see what kind of sites are in it.
What does it cost?
It's free to join, and you never have to pay. If you want more reach than your own traffic earns you, you can buy extra credits. That is the entire business model.
What happens to my visitors' data?
We don't build profiles on your visitors or track them across the web. We do check that cards are shown to real people rather than bots, because bot traffic is worth nothing to our users — but that check never requires knowing who the human visitor is. In short: we don't collect the data of your visitors.
What about fake views and bots?
Bot and crawler traffic is filtered out automatically — it never counts as a view for anyone. On top of that we run automated checks on every card shown, plus regular verification that member sites are really running it. We permanently ban accounts that try to fake views.
Can small sites join?
Yes. We check that a site is well-made and a decent place for someone else's card to appear — size isn't part of that. Less traffic does mean fewer credits, since you get seen in proportion to what you show others. But you're in the rotation from day one. Small is fine. Sloppy is not.
